Doug Williams

I was born and raised in Nova Scotia although I finished a degree in Alberta. I am married with a daughter who is going through law school. I love relaxing on the back deck reading a book and listening to music with our dog Cody. My wife and I enjoy going to movies, coffee and hanging out with each other.

I do most of the cooking which gives me an opportunity to try and create various dishes from around the world.

I have three guitars and get great enjoyment trying to imitate John Lennon, Waylon Jennings or the Boss man.

Every morning after my wife and I have tea I head to the gym to work out. I practice Maui Thai Kickboxing, a sport that keeps me young and in good shape.

The world and people have always been a hobby to me. Thus I can say I travelled the globe.  I have been 24,000 feet above sea level while climbing the Himalayas, walked through the temples in Tibet, had an apartment in China, hung out in Vietnam, trained Maui Thai in Thailand, been to the Philippines, help people with HIV start some small businesses in Uganda, surfed in south Ecuador, climbed the mountains in Peru, paddled the Amazon River, studied Che in Bolivia, travelled in the Middle East, walked the ruins in Mexico, tanned in all the southern spring break destinations, cruised the islands in the Caribbean and traveled from coast to coast plus the arctic in our great country.

My background was in human resources which is helpful when it comes to negotiating an offer for my clients. As a human being I have a passion for knowledge; I feel I have to know everything there is about Real Estate if I am to counsel individuals regarding the largest investment in life.

I have been told you either like me or don’t and I am comfortable with both.
